Ferndown Health Walks run every Tuesday fr om the Leisure Centre.  These hour long vollunteer walks start at 10am, and there is the opportunity to purchase refreshments at the end of the walk.  For more information ring the Rangers on 01425 470721 or email [email protected].  What a great local scheme, and this will fit perfectly with Ferndown arts 4 All Arts Trail, currently in the making,

The community event on Ford Lane Recreation Ground was interesting.  Although poorly attended I was very pleased with the level of support for the event, loved RoboSteelPrime, pleased that Emily Master and Harry [a black labrador] won Best in Show, in the Pet Show and enjoyed to talking to friends in the sun.  We raised an initial £97.11, and with the draw being held at the RBL next Firday, hopefully this figure will rise substantially with further raffle ticket sales.  I will be sending an email seperately to all those who helped - we musn't be downhearted but be determined to engage regularly with our community with events at KGV fields and Ford Lane Recreation Ground, so it becomes the norm.

Working on introducing 'Ferndown Pride' over the next twelve months.  Revolving around the three pillars of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITIES and RIGHTS, it will be a vehicle for long-term improvement in our joint 'Civic Voice', improving our environment together and enhancing our community cohesion.
